Overview

Covering an area of 30km2, Kisite Marine National park is the second most famous marine park in the world after the Australian Marine Park. With lots of marine life species such as turtles, marine tortoise, bear-reefs, coral reefs and different types of fish.

Relish a sun-drenched day of snorkeling, dolphin viewing, bird watching, sailing in traditional dhows the Kisite Mpunguti marine park, pause for lunch of seafood and Swahili dishes. After lunch, you will sail along the mangrove swamps and then visit the Wasini Island where you will learn more about the Swahili people and the Arabs history. (home of the dolphins)

Itinerary

Early pick up from your beach resort. With a morning drive across the ferry to the South Coast, later proceeding to the historical small fishing village of Shimoni on a drive  via coastal settlements with views of palm trees, cashew nuts, mango tree plantations

This is a typical itinerary for this Tour:

6.00 am – 9.00 am: Drive south from Mombasa to Wasini Island.

9.00 am – 5.00 pm: Arrive at Shimoni, where we will visit the Slave caves. Proceed to Wasini Island and enjoy the view of the marine life at Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park and get to watch the dolphins as they swim. Enjoy a traditional served Swahili style on the beach

5.00 pm – 8.00 pm: Drive back to Mombasa.
